Fabrics
What fabrics do you use for your hijabs?
We work with carefully selected materials, each chosen for comfort, style, and function:
Premium Jersey for a Thicker, luxurious feel with excellent grip, holds beautifully without pins. Breathable Jersey, lightweight and perfect for warmer days, though more delicate. Bamboo Jersey, Silky soft, breathable, eco-friendly and naturally antibacterial.
Silk Blend, A premium silk mix with an elegant sheen, great for special occasions.
Note: Delicate fabrics like Breathable Jersey and Silk Blend are more prone to pilling when rubbed against coarse materials such as denim or wool knits.
How should I wash my hijab?
Preferably hand wash for the longest lifespan.
If machine washing, use a delicate cycle at 30°C, and always use a mesh laundry bag.
Do not tumble dry. Iron on low heat, ideally with a protective cloth in between. See our Fabric Care Guide for full instructions per fabric.
My hijab has pilling, why?
Pilling can occur when the hijab rubs against rough materials such as jeans, zippers, or coarse knits.
Delicate fabrics like Breathable Jersey are especially sensitive to friction.
Always wash with care, ideally by hand or using a mesh bag, and avoid harsh fabric combinations. Please read our Fabric Care Guide for detailled instructions.
Why did my hijab shrink?
Natural fabrics (like bamboo or viscose blends) may shrink if washed or dried at high temperatures.
We recommend hand washing and always following our Fabric Care Guide.
What are the sizes of the Instant Hijabs?
Our Instant Hijabs are hand-cut to size, and dimensions may vary slightly depending on the fabric and color. Some fabrics naturally stretch more during cutting than others.
When first worn, the hijab may feel tight. This is normal, after 3 wears, it gently molds to your face for a personalized and comfortable fit. This is why we do not offer multiple sizes the fit adapts to your head shape over time.
Orders & Shipping
Where is my order?
You’ll receive a Track & Trace email once your order has shipped.
Sometimes the package may remain in "sorting" status for a few days with the carrier. This means it is still in process. We did send it to the carrier.
Please wait 5 days after your shipping confirmation before contacting us. Normally, within these days you will receive an update. If there’s no update, email info@kallouchi.nl, and we’ll investigate.
I didn’t receive a confirmation email, what should I do?
Check your spam or promotions folder first.
Still can’t find it? Email us at info@kallouchi.nl and include the email address and phone number you used when placing the order, we’ll look it up for you.
Can I change or cancel my order?
We start processing orders immediately, so changes or cancellations are not guaranteed.
Contact us as soon as possible via info@kallouchi.nl, and we’ll do our best to assist.
My parcel was returned to sender, what happens now?
If your order is returned to us due to failed delivery, we’ll contact you.
You can choose to have it re-shipped (shipping costs apply) or request a refund (excluding shipping costs).
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
You may return your order within 14 days of delivery, provided the items are unworn and in original condition. Read our Return Policy page for more information.
Each order includes a return form. Follow the steps on the form.

When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are processed within 14 business days after we’ve received and approved your return.
Can I exchange my hijab for another color or size?
We do not offer direct exchanges.
Please return your item and place a new order for the desired color or style.
Restocks & Availability
When will items be restocked?
We’re actively working to restock our most loved pieces.
However, not all items or colors will be restocked immediately. We are steadily increasing our inventory to meet growing demand.
Click “Notify Me” on the product page to get an email once the item is back in stock.
Why is my favorite color always sold out?
Some shades are very popular and sell out quickly.
We recommend signing up for restock notifications and following us on Instagram and TikTok (@kallouchiofficial) to stay updated.

No, Kallouchi is an online-only brand, available exclusively at www.kallouchi.nl.
