Breathable (Mondal Stretch Jersey)
Fabric Composition: 90% Modal, 10% Elastane
Description:
Mondal Stretch Jersey is a premium knit fabric renowned for its buttery-soft texture, fluid drape, and breathable comfort. Made primarily from modal, a semi-synthetic fiber derived from beechwood. This fabric feels exceptionally smooth against the skin while allowing for excellent airflow. The addition of elastane offers gentle stretch and excellent shape retention. Mondal Stretch Jersey is lightweight, absorbent, and exceptionally soft, making it ideal for everyday wear. Its breathable nature enhances comfort, particularly during warmer seasons, allowing the fabric to feel cool and fresh against the skin.
Care Instructions:
To preserve the softness, stretch, and longevity of this delicate fabric:
- Washing:
Hand wash in cold or lukewarm water (max 30 °C / 86 °F). Turn garments inside out to reduce surface abrasion. Avoid soaking. - Detergent:
Use a mild, bleach-free, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid fabric softeners, which may coat the fibers and affect breathability. - Drying:
Lay flat to dry in the shade. Do not wring, twist, or tumble dry, as this can distort the fabric and reduce elasticity. - Ironing:
Iron on a low setting if needed, ideally while slightly damp and on the reverse side, using a pressing cloth. - Care Tips:
Though less prone to pilling, this fabric should still be kept away from rough surfaces and sharp objects to maintain its pristine appearance.

Note on Fabric Care and Pilling:
While Modal Stretch Jersey is naturally smooth and less prone to pilling, friction caused by contact with rough materials, such as denim or garments with coarse textures, can lead to surface fuzzing or pilling over time. This is not considered a manufacturing fault but rather the result of fabric handling and external abrasion.
To maintain the fabric’s clean, refined look, we recommend avoiding combinations with abrasive textiles and minimizing friction. Pilling caused by such factors is considered a normal wear effect and does not fall under Kallouchi’s responsibility.
Bamboo Jersey
Fabric Composition: 90% Bamboo Viscose, 10% Elastane
Description:
Bamboo Stretch Jersey is a premium knit fabric known for its exceptional softness, smooth texture, and natural moisture management. Made from sustainably sourced bamboo viscose fibers, this fabric feels gentle and cool against the skin. Bamboo viscose is naturally absorbent and has inherent antibacterial properties, which help reduce odor and keep the fabric fresh even during prolonged wear.
The addition of elastane provides gentle stretch and reliable shape retention, ensuring garments maintain a flattering fit through movement. Lightweight and highly breathable due to its natural fiber structure.

Premium Jersey
Fabric Composition: 95% Cotton, 5% Elastane
Description:
Premium Jersey is a heavier-weight knit fabric prized for its substantial feel, durability, and excellent stretch recovery. Crafted primarily from high-quality cotton with a small percentage of elastane, this fabric offers a perfect balance between softness and structure. Its denser knit provides enhanced warmth and opacity while maintaining breathable comfort, making it ideal for garments like fitted tops, dresses, and casual outerwear.
The addition of elastane ensures gentle stretch and superior shape retention, allowing the garment to move with the body without losing its form over time. Premium Jersey’s smooth surface and resilient nature make it suitable for both everyday wear and more polished, tailored looks.
Care Instructions:
To keep your Premium Jersey garments looking and feeling their best:
- Washing:
Machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30 °C (86 °F) or hand wash gently in cold or lukewarm water to help preserve the fabric’s appearance and longevity. Turn garments inside out to reduce friction and protect the fabric surface. - Detergent:
Use a mild, bleach-free detergent. Avoid fabric softeners which may affect fabric breathability and elasticity. - Drying:
Lay flat or tumble dry on low heat. Remove promptly to avoid excessive wrinkling. - Ironing:
Iron on medium to low heat, preferably on the reverse side. - Care Tips:
Due to its thicker construction, Premium Jersey is less prone to pilling but should still be kept away from rough surfaces and sharp objects to preserve its smooth finish.
